Launching the "Young Leaders" program to discover talented students at the Egyptian E-Learning University

The Egyptian E-Learning University, headed by Dr Hisham Mohamed Abdel Salam, President of the University, received a delegation from the "Young Leaders" Foundation to develop the skills of youth leaders among university's students and provide them with adequate support and adopt their ideas and projects. This happens in the presence of Dr Youssef Rashid, the university advisor and the secretary of the former Supreme Council of Universities, and Ahmed Fathi, founder and executive director of the Young Leaders Foundation, and Omar Al-Ghawabi (Director of Public Relations at the Foundation) at the university's headquarters. During the meeting, aspects of cooperation were discussed to start the activities of the institution’s programs at the Egyptian E-Learning University to search for students who are capable of community leadership in various fields, develop their practical and theoretical capabilities, and prepare human cadres capable of leadership and management. This happens through the latest assessment and development tools that are locally and internationally approved in line with the university’s vision of providing its students with everything that would make them distinguished graduates who are abreast of all modern technology and was able to make a difference in the surrounding society. For his part, Dr Hisham Abdel Salam, President of the University, expressed his happiness at the presence of the "Young Leaders" Foundation and the launch of the activities of its leadership program. As the university aims, since its inception, to qualify young people and prepare them for the labour market, by equipping cadres of university's students who can manage And influencing society, and preparing a new generation of leaders for the future, especially in light of President Sisi adopting, with his second term in office, the concept of building the Egyptian human being. The university president pointed out the importance of the role that the Youth Leaders Foundation plays in discovering young leaders, as well as discovering innovative student projects, highlighting them and supporting them. The Executive Director of the Foundation "Ahmed Fathy" explained that the Leaders Program is through prospecting for young people who have the potential to lead. this happens in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and the Supreme Council of Universities, appreciating the efforts of these two sectors in helping the Foundation discover future leaders from university's students - governmental and private -. He also expressed his appreciation for the support provided by Dr Youssef Rashid, the university advisor, for his support in all stages of the institution's work within universities. Omar Al-Ghawabi (Director of Public Relations of the Corporation) revealed that the Foundation is working with one of the largest international companies concerned with discovering the talents of leaders and an electronic evaluation is made for them to find out their ability to lead and the weaknesses and strengths that must be worked on and developed.
