The university relies on a hybrid system for teaching that strikes a balance between digital and traditional education and includes the following:
(1) Face-to-face study by attending at the university centers, lectures via video communication using Video Conference technology and exams in those centers.
(2) Distance learning and study through virtual classes, electronic courses, activities, and tests.
(3) Self-study, which requires the ability to refer to recorded lectures, work on projects and view interactive electronic books and courses.
It is worth mentioning that the Egyptian E-Learning University was established as the first Egyptian university to adopt the principle of e-learning by Republican Decree No. 233 in 2008. Republican Decree No. 71 was issued in 2018 to convert the university from a private university to national university, with the goal of providing educational services to all Egyptian governorates at the highest quality levels at a socially acceptable cost.
