Prof. Hisham Abdel Salam, President of EELU, paid a visit to Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, along with Dr. Raafat Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Commercial Studies and Business Administration, Dr. Kamal Hamza, Director of the Information Technology Program, and Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud, Director of the Assiut Academic Branch.

Prof. Hisham Abdel Salam opened the conference by congratulating Assuit University President on his new position and wishing him ongoing success and advancement.

Prof. Ahmed Al-Minshawi also welcomed the president of EELU and all attendees, and praised the state's efforts to expand the opening of national universities throughout the country's governorates, referring to the different challenges that these universities attempted to solve by providing several educational programs that meet labor market needs, as well as making academic possibilities available to various individuals.

In light of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives and the support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, led by Prof. Ayman Ashour, the President of the University added that the Ministry is working through the new national universities to adopt new academic programs and curricula to serve society, human beings, and scientific development, as well as the development of regional human and natural resources. Within the framework of the Higher Education Strategy 2030.

The President of Assiut University expressed his full willingness to provide all necessary support between the two universities, and emphasized the importance of maximizing the utilization of the university's resources and making good use of them in activating the desired developments. He also acknowledged the University for its Remarkable Role in offering distinguished educational services to Upper Egypt students.

While prof. Hisham Abd al-Salam discussed EELU expansion plans for the Assiut academic branch, such as expanding the university's auditoriums and laboratories, he highlighted the high rate of students enrolled in the Assiut academic branch because it is one of the university's largest and first academic branches.
