EELU Representatives answers the Country’s Call in 13 Governorates

On the second day of the presidential elections, a significant number of Egyptian National E-Learning University participants—which includes deans, lecturers, and students at a variety of academic branches dispersed throughout the governorates of the Republic—participated in voting in the various electoral committees.

Additionally, the university administration made transportation easier for staff members throughout the governorates so they could vote in the committees. To save time on their return and throughout the voting process, they were brought to the electoral committee headquarters.

In context, the university's president, Prof. Hisham Abdel Salam, announced that the university ran an awareness campaign for all of its students via email and all social media platforms, urging them to cast their votes on election days and to respect their most fundamental constitutional right to do so. The campaign also emphasized that voting is a national duty that contributes to national stability and the creation of a better future. Finally, the campaign urged students to follow the guidelines set by the electoral committees in order to exhibit to all of the civilized appearance through proper presence and participation.
