The Egyptian E-Learning University: We rely on hybrid education and partnerships with public universities

Prof. Hisham Abdel Salam, President of the Egyptian E-Learning University, confirmed that the university has witnessed a large and unprecedented expansion in recent years, with President Sisi adopting national projects to expand to meet the demand for enrollment in higher education institutions, as the university has many joint programs with Egyptian public universities and 13 study centers in universities (Ain Shams - Assiut - Alexandria - Menoufia - Beni Suef - South Valley Qena - South Valley in Hurghada - Aswan - Sohag - Ismailia - Sadat - Fayoum - Tanta).

In press statements, Abdel Salam stated that the university has the most recent and important new and modern programs in universities and that its programs keep pace with the fourth industrial revolution and subsequent technological developments, such as the College of Computers and Information Technology, which awards a bachelor's degree in majors of information technology - data sciences - artificial intelligence, and a master's degree in software engineering.

And the College of Business Administration, which grants a bachelor's degree with a major in "management" and minor in “marketing, Accounting, Investment and finance, Information Systems Management & Supply Chain Management”, as well as the College of Educational Studies, which grants graduate degrees in educational technology to university students.

Abdel Salam explained that the university participates in these exhibitions with the goal of making all of the university's programs and specializations available to students, emphasizing the importance of introducing the various programs owned by the university in order to attract the greatest number of Egyptian and expatriate students, so that there is a good opportunity for Egyptian and expatriate students and parents to choose the best ones.

He stated that the university uses a hybrid system for teaching that achieves a balance between digital and traditional education and includes the following elements: face-to-face study through attendance at study centers, lectures via video communication using video conference technology, the student attends his exams in those centers, attend virtual classes and electronic courses, activities, electronic tests and self-learning, which is dependent on the ability to refer to recorded lectures, work on projects and view books and interactive electronic courses.
