Prof. Dr. Hisham Abdel Salam, President of the Egyptian University for National E-Learning contributed to the Association of African Universities' Board of Directors meeting and the conference "Leaders of Higher Education Institutions in Africa 2023 COREVIP" took place at the University of Namibia, with a number of ministries, presidents of universities members of the Union, and representatives from these universities participating. In addition, there are also a number of faculty members on the African continent.

According to Abdel Salam, the conference, which is held every two years, evaluated the member institutions' and the African continent's prevalent issues and priorities for the growth of higher education. These discussions also assisted in finding potentials in African universities that will play a significant role in developing research integration between universities and some of them.

He explained that the National Egyptian E-learning University for values collaboration and partnerships as a strategic goal that contributes to the university's regional and global reputation as a leading e-learning university with a unique experience in digital transformation in Egyptian and African educational institutions.
