The National Egyptian E-Learning University is the golden sponsor for the 1st virtual job fair for university students.

 

Prof. Dr. Hisham Abdel Salam, the President of the Egyptian E-Learning University, affirmed his belief in the effective role of youth graduates from all Egyptian universities in achieving development.

In response to the state's policy orientations with concern for graduates and fading the difficulties they face in finding job opportunities that accommodate the numbers of graduates to allow the opportunity to their participation in building society, the university took the initiative to sponsor the virtual job fair that will be held on Monday, March 22, in order to qualify university students and graduates for the academic years from 2017/2022 to provide them with the opportunity of knowing the labor market needs and gaining experience from the former graduates who work at diversified fields and to benefit from the provided job opportunities by the participants, in addition to the opportunities offered by the university as well.

Abdel Salam praised this new experience that helps to benefit from advanced technology and achieve maximum benefit from it, especially during the outbreak of the Corona virus that the world is going through, which requires the absence of any gatherings as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the virus, as the forum is communicated with applicants through Electronic audio conversations or video and audio calls as well as conducting the live interviews necessary for employment to achieve the largest possible amount of interaction between the two parties.

He stressed that the Virtual Employment Forum is the first virtual event for Egyptian universities for the year 2021, synchronized with the current crisis, and that this is the future for such activities and events to be able to adapt to various circumstances and crises.

The university president added that the university seeks, with its participation and sponsorship of the forum, to link the academic aspect with the requirements of the labor market and organize events that achieve this goal, which makes students and graduates aware of the skills necessary to join the labor market and benefit from the experiences of graduates and workers in providing job opportunities for fresh graduates for five previous batches.

He also praised the establishment of this forum for the first time to provide job and training opportunities for participating graduates from many universities across the Republic, prepare them for the labor market, help job seekers in direct contact with the labor market, and support companies and business owners with qualified individuals.

Abdel Salam added that the university provides through its golden sponsorship to the forum a set of training opportunities, whether practical through training on the work environment and practical participation in training for jobs in various fields such as media, information technology and entrepreneurship, as well as by providing a set of free training courses for graduates to qualify them for a  Competitive job market., in the fields of self-skill development, marketing principles, digital marketing, presentation and communication skills, artificial intelligence, in addition to a bunch of other training courses that qualify them for the job market.

In conclusion, His Excellency stressed that the importance of the Virtual job fair lies in extending the communication bridge between graduates and between companies and various institutions in line with the current crisis, in addition to identifying the skills required and necessary for the labor market according to the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education in light of the 2030 Sustainable Development Plan, which works to improve Education systems, outputs and creating a competitive, advanced job market that works to achieve comprehensive development in all fields.
