The postponed 1st semester exams at The National Egyptian E-Learning University starts tomorrow

Dr. Hisham Abdel Salam, President of The National Egyptian E-Learning University , announced that the postponed 1st  semester exams for the academic year 2020-2021 will start tomorrow, Saturday, until March 13, while the studying schedule will pursue the university's branches spread across the republic governorates, immediately after the postponed exams are completed.

He added that, due to the eagerness for achieving safety and security for university students, necessary measures have been taken to prevent the emerging corona virus by providing thermal detectors and disinfectants to ensure the safety of all participants before entering the examination halls, in addition to providing equipped rooms to conduct electronic examinations while achieving safe social distancing. And direct follow-up of the progress of the examinations with the provision of emergency committees to deal immediately with any problem and solve it.

He explained that all measures and controls have been taken to ensure the smooth conduct of the first semester exams for the academic year 2020-2021 in accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Supreme Council of Universities to hold the exams immediately after the mid-year vacation ends, stressing the importance of continuing concerted efforts aimed at facilitation for students and working on Providing all necessary support and care for them within the committees, with the presence of sufficient numbers of observers within each committee, and coordination to aid any emergency sick case among students.

The university president stressed the need to adhere to the electronic exam system and apply the technical specifications of the exam paper, as it includes several technical specifications, the most important of which is that the test questions do not come out of what has already been taught, and the test questions are linked to its objectives and topics, distributed to all areas and prepared in a way that allows measuring various levels.

The extent to which the student understands and understands the curricula, while providing clarity and smoothness in formulating questions, in addition to the appropriateness of the time allotted for the exam to answer the number of questions.

Abdel Salam noted the need for center administrators to follow the progress of the exams at their headquarters, to provide all the comfort elements for students in the examination halls to perform their exams easily, comfortably and safely, and to start the correction work upon completion of each subject's exam, and to ensure the accuracy of grading monitoring, wishing all students success and excellence.
