Hisham Mohamed Abdel-Salam, President of the Egyptian E-Learning University, announced
the extension of the submission period to join the university in the faculties of Computer Science and Business Administration. He also declared that the university is available during the second and third stages, in all study centers, with a minimum admission of 70% for the Faculty of Computer Science for the two section (science section and math section), and of 60% for the faculty of Business Administration.
He also explained that the university is committed to accepting a certain number for each academic center from each section and that the selection is based on the total number of applicants with transparency. Moreover, the announced results are conditional on completing the registration steps mentioned on the university’s website, as in the case of not completing the registration steps the student is being replaced by another from the waiting list.
He added that the Egyptian E-Learning University, that is established by Republican Decree No. 233 of 2008 and amended by Republican Decree No. 71 of 2018 within the framework of the state’s plan represented by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to raise the level of education efficiency and dependence on modern and developed technologies., is considered one of the universities that had a head start in the e-learning system.
The university president pointed out that the educational system depends on the electronic learning system, which combines between the traditional learning system by attending the study
centers and virtual classes. These kind of classes allow distance learning and more flexibility while maintaining the interaction between the student and the teachers, in addition to making videotaping all lectures so that the student can review them from anywhere and anytime. This allows the student to address the curriculum through multiple channels that helps to achieve the elements of academic excellence while granting the university’s graduates an accredited certificate from the Supreme Council of Universities.
