Under EU Erasmus+ program that funds research and capacity building development projects, the National Egyptian E-learning University (EELU) cooperates with a number of Egyptian and European universities including Ainshams University, Nile University, Alexandria University, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Information and Communication Technology from Egypt, Glasgow Caledonian University from Scotland, Latvian University from Latvia, Royal Institute of Technology from Sweden to develop " International Diploma for School Teachers in STEM Education- eSTEM"

This project aims at developing integrated diploma to qualify a new generation of STEM teachers in Egypt, who are capable to provide adequate and innovative teaching in Science, Technology, Math and Engineering-based subjects, embracing STEM philosophy and are capable to bridge the gap between current school education methodologies and international best practices in the field of STEM education. The project started Mid October 2015 and shall run for 3 years until 2018.
