Under the patronage and attendance of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Khairy, President of the Egyptian E-Learning University and Prof. Dr. Rasha Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Student Affairs, EELU chess league final event took place at the university main headquarter at Dokki & the Egyptian Hunting club stadiums on Thursday 28th November 2019.
Where the chess league finals was played by players from the university studying centers in Assiut, Beni Suef, Alexandria and Menoufia who had previously won the preliminary competition, which took place electronically.
The student won the first position, Moaz Ahmed Saad from the Academic Center in Beni Suef, while the second place was won by the student Milad Malak from the Academic Center in Assiut, while the third place was won by the student Mohab Mohamed from the Academic Center in Menoufia. At the end Prof. Dr. Mohamed khairy awarded the winners with the championship medals, stressing on the importance of students practicing sporting activities, and the university’s eagerness to make useful student activities in various fields.
